Need a desktop 5 axis CNC machine? Pocket NC is on Kickstarter

| June 23, 2015

Recently launched on Kickstarter, the Pocket NC is a small, portable 5 axis CNC machine.  Model makers, jewelers and RC enthusiasts rejoice. It has a relatively small machining area at X 4.5in, Y 4.8in, Z 3.45in, A 100 degrees and B continuous rotation (360+).  It has a very trick spindle that does not require tools to change the bits.  A lever does the job.  Though small, the unit is beautifully crafted and looks well built.  It’s also powered by a Beagle Bone Black (BBB).
