Tesla shows us the “D”

| October 13, 2014

Elon Musk took to the stage to show us the “D”.  The “D” in this case is the new Duel motor AWD version of the Tesla S.  With the help of a very large industrial robot, Elon presented the crowd a first hand look at what makes the “D” so special.  The dual motor power train is capable of pushing the car from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds.  The highly efficient power train also boost the range of the car.  He didn’t stop there.  The car is also equipped with a new auto pilot.  Watch the video for all the details.   I will give you a small teaser though.  The car will be able to meet you at a scheduled appointment and also go park itself in the garage.  Pretty “Jetsons” I’d say!
